The purpose of the 2022-23 Portfolio Budget Statements (PB Statements) is to inform Senators and Members of Parliament of the proposed allocation of resources to government outcomes by entities within the portfolio. Entities receive resources from the annual appropriations acts, special appropriations (including standing appropriations and special accounts), and revenue from other sources.
The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) provides high-quality and timely advice to the Prime Minister, the Cabinet and our portfolio ministers.

1.1 The Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) has established the Audit and Risk Committee (the Committee) in accordance with section 45 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and section 17 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule) (Audit Committee for Commonwealth entities).
