Dr Marian Baird AO FASSA is Professor of Gender and Employment Relations, a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and a Presiding Pro-Chancellor of the University of Sydney. Marian is Director of the Women, Work and Policy Research Group at the University of Sydney Business School and co-convenor of the Body@Work Project. Marian is an internationally recognised scholar on women and work over the life course.

A State Memorial for Mr Barry Humphries AC CBE will take place at 11:00am on Friday, 15 December 2023, at the Sydney Opera House.
The Memorial, delivered by the Australian and NSW Governments, provides an opportunity to celebrate the seven‑decade global career of Mr Humphries who was a renowned actor, poet, musician and artist.
The Memorial will be held in the Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House. Doors will open at 10:15am and guests must be seated by 10:45am sharp. The Memorial is expected to conclude at approximately 12:30pm.
