FOI disclosure logs

Our freedom of information (FOI) disclosure log provides access to information released in response to a request for an FOI access to documents.

PM&C publishes information released under section 11A of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). Information on how to make a FOI request is available.

The disclosure log requirement does not apply to:

  • personal information about any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • information about the business, commercial, financial or professional affairs of any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • other information covered by a determination made by the Australian Information Commissioner if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • any information if it is not reasonably practicable to publish the information because of the extent of modifications that would need to be made to delete the information listed in the above dot points.

Deletions have been made to the documents in accordance with the exemptions available under the FOI Act.

1) The amount of Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) purchased by or for the (Federal) Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (anytime) for the purpose of testing staff for the Coronavirus (COVID-19). I request the amount of Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) purchased by the department used by the Prime Minister. 

2) The amount of money spent by the (Federal) Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet purchasing these tests.

i.  If the Department did not purchase these tests or any number of tests were purchased by another agency and given to staff in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, I request: the agency that supplied the tests, any documents detailing the transfer of RATS between departments, any documents detailing the purchase of RAT tests for use in the department.

3) Any documents the department holds, the subject of the document(s) being any one of more of the following:

- The cost of RAT purchased by any other federal agency.

- The amount of RAT purchased or acquired by any other federal agency.
