Budget: March 2022-23

On Tuesday 29 March, the Treasurer, the Hon Josh Frydenberg MP, handed down the 2022-23 Federal Budget.

Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet contributes to a number of important measures announced in the Budget including:

  • The Women’s Leadership Package to support women’s safety, economic security, leadership, health and wellbeing, including some to be delivered by the Office for Women in PM&C. These measures are detailed in the Women’s Budget Statement.
  • Implementation of the Government’s response to the Independent Review into Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces.
  • The delivery of the Sydney Energy Forum to help secure clean energy supply chains for the Indo-Pacific.
  • Supporting the Digital Economy Strategy, including continuing the Digital Technology Taskforce for a further two years.
