The Governor-General announced a special Australian Bravery Decorations Honours List to recognise the courageous actions of eight remarkable individuals during the tragedy that occurred at Bondi Junction in 2024.
On the second anniversary of the tragedy that occurred at Bondi Junction in 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, announced a special Australian Bravery Decorations Honours List in recognition of the courage, bravery and selflessness of eight remarkable individuals who put themselves in danger on that terrible day. The announcement includes two posthumous awards for those who lost their lives to save the lives of others.
Decorations to be awarded include six Bravery Medals and two Commendation for Brave Conduct.
