A State Funeral for the Honourable Michael MacKellar AM will take place at 2.00 pm on Friday, 15 May 2015 at St John's Anglican Church, 86 Clendon Road, Toorak, VIC.

Mr MacKellar held five ministerial posts between 1975 and 1982. He was the Minister for Immigration and Ethnic Affairs from 1975 – 1979, the Minister for Health from 1979 – 1982 and the Minister for Home Affairs and Environment in 1981.

Mr MacKellar was also the Minister Assisting the Treasurer from 1978 – 1979 and the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister from 1979 – 1980. Mr MacKellar represented the Federal Seat of Warringah in the House of Representatives from 1969 – 1994.

Family, friends, representatives of organisations and members of the public are welcome to attend the State Funeral.

Doors will open at 1.00 pm. All guests are kindly requested to be seated by 1.30 pm. Ushers will be on hand to assist with seating.

A private cremation will follow the State Funeral.
