Dear Panel
Over 5 million Australians voted against SSM largely due to the effect it would have on religious freedom, freedom of speech, parental rights, the implementation of radical education and so forth. Many who voted yes, admit that they were unaware that legalising Same Sex Marriage would have ramifications on any of the above mentioned. Careful study of countries that have embraced SSM show that there have been significant social and ethical consequences in those counties. It is time for you to now discern with great care and consideration how legalising SSM for a minority can be done sensitively without impinging on the basic human rights of all Australians. You have an opportunity to establish an incredible legacy, l pray your decisions are ethical and fair.
Merry Christmas to you all!
