Australia is a secular state and no religious organisation should be exempt from Australian law, It should not occur in regard to employment, education or taxation so rather than attempt to give religions further special status some of the exemptions they already enjoy should be wound back. Religion has no place in a modern age and should be something that people practice privately with no tax free status, government funding, ability to discriminate against employees that are secular or any other special privileges.
