FOI disclosure logs

Our freedom of information (FOI) disclosure log provides access to information released in response to a request for an FOI access to documents.

PM&C publishes information released under section 11A of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). Information on how to make a FOI request is available.

The disclosure log requirement does not apply to:

  • personal information about any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • information about the business, commercial, financial or professional affairs of any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • other information covered by a determination made by the Australian Information Commissioner if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • any information if it is not reasonably practicable to publish the information because of the extent of modifications that would need to be made to delete the information listed in the above dot points.

Deletions have been made to the documents in accordance with the exemptions available under the FOI Act.

FOI request

I am making a FOI request for any emails, correspondence, internal communications, WhatsApp messages or Signal messages within:

  • the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet; and
  • the Assistant Minister for a Future Made in Australia's Office

that relate to, or mention, the order or purchase or gifting or wearing of an embroidered 'Future Made in Australia' high visibility work shirt.

The relevant shirt was worn by the Assistant Minister for a Future Made in Australia during an interview on 14 November 2024.

The relevant period for discovery is between 1 August, 2024 and midday AEDT 14 November, 2024.

This request includes any correspondence from the Assistant Minister's Office and media outlets about the shirt.
