In operation since 2015, Indigenous Professional Services (IPS) is a majority Indigenous owned company that provides business services to the private sector, community organisations and governments around Australia.

As an Indigenous-owned business, IPS has tapped into the small to medium enterprise (SME) Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP), winning 13 contracts valued at over $1.4 million.

The IPP was launched in July 2015. The IPP set an annual target of Commonwealth contracts for Indigenous businesses.  All targets were exceeded with 956 Indigenous businesses winning over $594 million in contracts across a wide range of industries over the first two years of the policy.

As well as providing high quality professional service, IPS is building a workforce of consultants with an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background.

Further details on the IPP are available.
