Australian Government announces $138 million Indigenous education package

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Referendum, the Australian Government has announced a $138 million Indigenous education package.

The package includes investments in scholarships, in positive engagement in school and in academic success.

It also assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to study and secure jobs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, where the jobs of the future will be.
