FOI disclosure logs

Our freedom of information (FOI) disclosure log provides access to information released in response to a request for an FOI access to documents.

PM&C publishes information released under section 11A of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). Information on how to make a FOI request is available.

The disclosure log requirement does not apply to:

  • personal information about any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • information about the business, commercial, financial or professional affairs of any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • other information covered by a determination made by the Australian Information Commissioner if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’
  • any information if it is not reasonably practicable to publish the information because of the extent of modifications that would need to be made to delete the information listed in the above dot points.

Deletions have been made to the documents in accordance with the exemptions available under the FOI Act.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, I wish to apply for access to the following documents.

Any letters from the first ministers of New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory to the Prime Minister following the federal election on 3 May, 2025.

Under subsection 29(5) of the FOI Act, I ask that the department waive any processing fee associated with this request on the grounds that the giving up of access to this information is in the interests of a substantial section of the public.
